Tomorrow marks the Chinese New Year!
Each year in the Chinese calendar is represented by both an animal and an element. We are saying goodbye to the year of the Metal Rat and welcoming the zodiac animal of 2021 – the Metal Ox.
The Ox symbolises strength, hard work and honesty according to astrologers.
Whilst last year’s force of the Rat was hard, fast and ever changing, 2021 is believed to bring more stability and nourishment with the Yin qualities of the Ox. This is the year of patience and rest to recover from the previous year. The Ox moves slowly so all the good changes that lie ahead might unfold slowly, but surely.
In the light of the New Year let’s take time, take things easy and be kind to ourselves and each other.
