Happy Lunar New Year!

The Chinese New Year celebrations start today on the second new moon following the Winter solstice. New year marks the end of winter and the beginning of the long-awaited spring!

The Year of the Rat in 2020 was about surviving. 2021 year’s of the Ox was about adapting ourselves to a new reality.

With 2022 being the year of the Tiger what can we expect?

Well, with Tigers being courageous, strong animals with agility and grace, it’s a time for adventure, however, the path may have some rapid twists and turns in it. Tigers are extremely competitive and ambitious, but with a generous drive to help others. Tigers are associated with the male Yang energy, doing things on their own terms and not being afraid of changes. This year is a time for new beginnings and new challenges. Dip your toes into new water and see where it takes you!

If you were born in 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998 or 2010 and in 2022, you are a Tiger.

The Lunar New Year is the perfect time to set yourself up for the upcoming change in season. Especially when it comes to seasonal ailments, such as hay fever, now is the time to start looking at what acupuncture can do for you ahead of Spring.
