Happy New Year! As we step into 2025, I want to express my gratitude for allowing me to be part of your wellness journey. Each needle placed, each moment of stillness, and each story shared in my practice reminds me of the strength of holistic healing.

The new year is a perfect time to reflect, reset, and realign. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, balance is key—balancing Yin and Yang, body and mind, work and rest

Stay Warm, Stay Healthy: January Wellness Tips

In the colder months, it’s essential to protect your body’s energy and avoid the chill. Here are some simple practices to keep you feeling strong and healthy this January:

• Wear a Scarf: In Chinese Medicine, the neck is considered a vulnerable area where wind and cold can enter the body. Always keep your neck covered in cold weather.

• Stay Warm: Avoid letting your feet get cold by wearing cozy socks or slippers, even indoors. Keep your core warm with layers of clothing.

• Eat Warming Foods: Incorporate cooked and warming foods like soups, stews, ginger, cinnamon, and root vegetables into your meals. These foods help support your digestive fire and sustain your energy.

• Hydrate Smartly: Sip on warm water or herbal teas throughout the day instead of cold drinks. This keeps your digestion balanced and your body hydrated without chilling your system.

• Move Gently: Engage in low-impact exercises like yoga, tai chi, or brisk walks. These practices improve circulation and help keep Qi flowing freely.

• Prioritize Rest: Winter is the perfect time to slow down and focus on deep rest.
